Body shaming is a term that has recently gone viral in the online world. Everybody is talking about whether or not a “plus-sized” model should be allowed on the Sports Illustrated magazine or the actress from Precious, Gabourey Sidibe, should be posing in lingerie at her size.
But, it doesn’t only affect fat people, it also troubles people who are skinny or have long arms and it goes as far as criticizing women who don’t have a gap between their thighs. Sadly, I’m sure many people experience it in our circle of friends and family. Heck! I shame myself and my body ALL THE TIME.
I know that many of us have a difficult time with accepting and loving our body just like it is.
